EMERALD CUT EMERALD

Emerald is in the precious gemstone club, along with diamond, ruby and sapphire, and are a part of the beryl family. They only come in the green color which is from trace amounts of chromium and/or vanadium. 

Fun Fact: The Egyptians used emeralds both in jewelry and in their elaborate burials, often burying emerald stones with monarchs as symbols of protection.
